For those that can not install solar on their own property, community solar projects provide a means to reduce your carbon footprint, source clean energy locally, and enhance your city, town, or village. Participants of community solar projects typically rent or lease a portion of a larger solar energy system. Participants benefit by receiving a reduced utility energy bill and/or direct payments for their percentage of the energy produced for any given billing period.
